Governance Committee

The AGM

SWOP NSW has an Annual General Meeting (AGM) each year, usually towards the end of the year. Here we go over our financial reporting, the Annual Report, our achievements as an organisation, and other matters. This is led by the Governance Committee, and only SWOP NSW members can attend.

Each year at the AGM SWOP NSW’s membership elect a governance committee. The elected committee is delegated the responsibility to make governance decisions for the organisation and is accountable to the membership.

The elected Committee is made up of the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice-President, Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • and up to 3 General Members

All SWOP NSW Executive Committee members are responsible for the governance of the organisation.
